Luxury Airship Cruises

Airships are making a comeback in an unusual way in a concept known as “sky yachting”. Several companies and airship designs are entering this burgeoning arena of travel and recreation. One such airship the Airlander from Hybrid Air Vehicles of Britain (HAV) is expected to begin flying commercially in 2026 and can carry up to 130 passengers. Then there are the Pathfinder airships from Google cofounder Sergey Brin. Other entrants include the Skyship 600 from Airship Industries and the Atlant 30 from Israeli-based Atlas LTA Advanced Technology. The goal is to make air travel as luxurious as traveling on a luxury yacht and OceanSky Cruises from Sweden is already at the forefront with an exclusive sky cruise from Svalbard Norway to the North Pole that will include exclusive cabins and haute cuisine with epic sightseeing through the airship’s glass flooring and windows.
